Our Team

The Ages Team is a non-profit, indie game development studio, full of imagination, and dignity. We develop mainly games, and an online service for everyone to enjoy. For our games, we take lots of inspiration from the classic games from the retro 16/32-bit era.

For over half a decade, we've been putting smiles on faces and inspiring others to continue with their dreams.

My Story

I have created the Ages Team on March 16th, 2018, shortly after me and 2 others made a successful school project for a science class in middle school. This indie studio was also created a year after I joined Scratch.

My friends were interested in the block-coding concept on Scratch, so I taught them how to program, draw, and how some other things work on Scratch, and after 4 to 6 months of teaching, they were confident enough to make a game together as a group. When we first started, we were just...just as bad as any other under-talented kids on Scratch. Our very first game was this project:

It was pretty inferior and buggy, but that the studio's first game. It was a bit popular, though, since it has over 2K views today.

But as we keep working on projects, our skills have been slowly improving. We're still learning, but we have learned a LOT, and so do I. And after all these years of creating, our projects have been up to the roof with quality, color, and beauty.

I am so grateful for having a team this dedicated and talented. Since this was Scratch-related, I found too many people being simply lazy and having too many unshared works and cancelled most of them. Lack of motivation was the most typical reason, but for me, I refuse to be one of them. My studio and I went to a whole another level, to produce original content with hard work and effort put into all of our projects, and breakthroughs were also made! And thanks to TurboWarp and Gandi IDE, more gaming power was produced; several limitations were removed, and all of the advanced settings (Such as widescreen, anti-fencing, 60 FPS, interpolation) will be continued to use for future projects.

We used to create fan games for fun, but now we're mainly focusing on originality.

Me and my team also help other people with their problems with the program or projects. Though, complex engines or other advance scripting could be really complicated, so we can't guarantee that we'll help you on everything. Other than that, people were satisfied with the help we have given.

Now, with enough chit chat, I'll give advice to all of you as developers: if you're making a video game that you dream right now, don't quit. If you can try to make something impressive in quality and design that comes to your mind, you will have the ability to bring your imagination to life and you can impress all of your friends or the community!

Sometimes, programming can be hard and complicated, but as you practice more and more, you will get better and better in the future. And if you're good enough, you will eventually be able to pull it off.

All you have to do is just don't give up. It is OK to fail, as long as you keep trying.

I hope the best comes to all of the good people out there. Let your imagination fly.

We enjoy most of the development content with joy and high-quality experiences. Most of the games we make are inspired by the 2D classics from the 16-bit and 32-bit era, as we push our talent to its limits unlike other teams out there in the Scratch community.

Check out some of the games we made!
